Dow Powerhouse Solar Shingles Make a Comeback

However, RGS faced financial difficulties and ultimately filed for bankruptcy, leading to another halt in Dow Powerhouse production.

The renowned Dow solar product made a triumphant comeback in 2023 as Revere Plastics Systems, a leading plastic injection molding company, reintroduced the Powerhouse™ In-Roof Shingle 3.0. These revamped Dow Powerhouse shingles are now manufactured by Revere Plastics Systems and distributed through Plan A Solar. Solar panels work efficiently in winter, converting sunlight into electricity even in cold climates, powering homes sustainably.
